Graphic Scores

2022 – Ongoing
Installation | Urban traces on silkscreened skateboard decks
Series, 20x80cm each

Through use, the unique marks left on skateboard decks by their users have become open scores, whose meaning is to be determined by composers. Those partitions are starting points for individual sonic possibilities.

Composers of all kinds are invited to present their own musical language through those notations, free to choose the instruments, structure, tempo, and ensemble. Each interpretation reveals music from a specific point of view.

Feel free to get in touch if you wish to activate the piece.
